The Business of Influence: PART 1
I love the world of the Influencer – a complex, dynamic and oftentimes challenging - yet infinity rewarding realm. Influencers can effectively utilise their channels to promote products, services, and movements, just as they can assist via speaking engagements, event attendance, ambassadorial roles and content creation.
At PDPR, we work with Influencers in myriad ways to support and elevate our marketing and public relations campaigns. We place Influencers front and centre in emcee roles for large-scale events, host appearances at brand launches and as Ambassadors within product placement campaigns. Furthermore, Influencers are worked into our Content Creation photoshoots for additional brand exposure, to amplify competitions and giveaways, and most recently, to experience tourism products first hand.
In the current worldwide #Covid-19 discussions, movement towards virtual events and a further push for online sales means that Influencers are still a strong marketing channel in this space.
